Tata Electronics is building India's first commercial semiconductor fab at Dholera and is hiring a Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Expert to support the ramp-up. In this role you will own selection, qualification, commissioning, operations and continuous improvement for advanced wafer-fab process equipment — across photolithography, etch, deposition (CVD / PVD / ALD), CMP, diffusion, ion implant or wet processing depending on your background. You will partner with OEMs, process engineering, facilities and quality teams to bring tools online, lock down PMs and qualifications, and drive uptime, throughput and yield. Responsibilities include: capacity and capability planning; tool acceptance and qualification per spec; root-cause analysis of equipment-related excursions; preventive and corrective maintenance ownership; spares strategy; technician training; and partnering with process integration to translate process recipes into stable equipment operation. You bring: a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Materials Engineering or related; 10+ years of hands-on semiconductor fab equipment experience in a 200mm / 300mm wafer environment; deep familiarity with one or more major OEM platforms (Applied Materials, ASML, Lam Research, Tokyo Electron, KLA, ASMI); strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills; comfort with MS Office, Excel data analysis and Oracle / SAP-style ERPs. Dholera is a greenfield site — you will be part of putting India on the global semiconductor manufacturing map.
