Software Development Engineer (SDE-1)

Job Description

GobbleCube.ai (Series A, founded 2022 by ex-Blinkit core leadership team) is hiring an SDE-1 in Gurugram to build the backend and AI workflows powering its agentic growth operating system for D2C and enterprise brands. Listed on the Uplers talent platform. GobbleCube has onboarded 400+ brands and operates across India, MENA and LATAM, with $20.4M in funding from Kae Capital and Info Edge Ventures. What you will do: - Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering AI-driven applications. - Develop backend workflows, automation pipelines and integrations. - Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into production workflows — semantic search, summarization, recommendation systems, AI agents, RAG. - Work with databases, caching layers and cloud infrastructure (PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker). - Optimize for performance, scalability and reliability; participate in debugging, monitoring and deployment. - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps and product teams. Required skills: - Strong fundamentals in DSA, OS, DBMS and Networking. - Proficiency in at least one backend language — Python, Node.js / TypeScript, Go or Java. - Familiarity with FastAPI, Django, Flask or Express.js; understanding of relational databases and API development. - Comfort with Git and collaborative development workflows. - Basic understanding of cloud platforms and containers. Nice to have: - Internship or project experience in backend or AI systems. - Exposure to REST APIs, Redis, Docker, PostgreSQL / MySQL, WebSockets, CI/CD. - Experience with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases, embeddings, RAG systems and AI agents. - Strong GitHub projects or open-source contributions. Eligibility: B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / equivalent. 2024, 2025 or 2026 graduates. Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
